Members Achieve Milestones in Training & Certifications
The Officers and Members of Morningside are proud to announce three more of our volunteers have successfully obtained their EMT. These members are quite diverse and represent why Morningside is such a special place. We are excited to congratulate Edwin Rullan Marquez, Gabriel K. Osamor, and Stephen Copley.
Edwin comes to us all the way from California as an active duty member of the United States Air Force stationed at Joint Base Andrews and donating his time to the surrounding community. Gabriel is a 2018 graduate from Surratsville High School and has already obtained other training and is excited to be afforded this opportunity to serve in his community. Finally, Stephen comes to us from another department in Prince George’s County and is a second-generation member of the MVFD, proudly serving alongside his father.
Also, a big congratulations to Ram Braza and Reem Soudi for achieving Morningside milestones. Ram recently became an Ambulance Driver, and Reem was turned over as an Ambulance Attendant. They both came to Morningside to utilize their Nationally Registered EMT certifications that they obtained through George Washington University located in the District of Columbia. They are both pursuing higher education with big aspirations and value providing service to the community. Morningside will continue to provide them plenty of opportunities to do just that.
Morningside is a special place that affords people opportunities to serve their community and achieve fulfillment. Are you looking for something more?
