Congratulations to our very own Seth Astwood. Last night Seth was promoted to the rank of Captain and assigned to the Rescue Squad by Chief Poetker. The Captain of Rescue Squad 27 is one of the most desirable and proud positions inside the Morningside Volunteer Fire Department. Seth has proven himself as a Squadsman since he first stepped in the Fire Station; he is quiet, commanding and extremely knowledgable/capable. We are excited that he has stepped up into this role and know that the #SouthSideRescueCo is in good hands under his command.
