MVFD Continues to Meet Needs of Community, Adds 8 Members in July
The Morningside Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. continues to meet new milestones in providing Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services.
Eight new members in the month of July have joined the Morningside Volunteer Fire Department eager to serve the citizens of Prince George’s County. These members are traveling from various parts of the Country to here to serve our community; two of them are going to be Live-In Firefighter/EMT’s. We are pleased that these men and women chose to join us; we believe we have a lot to offer them. Morningside has recently invested in our ambulance, so these new members will have state of the art technology to assist them while they practice their craft.
There are also dedicated members of the Department that seek to work with the new members to help them feel at home in Morningside. The recent events at Morningside proves that service delivery continues to be the priority; no matter what the circumstances are, we find a way to serve and overcome any challenges. Because Morningside VFD is an individual private corporation with resources, we can focus on the needs of our members and help them reach their personal goals while they serve.
