Wednesday, August 4, 2010 Rescue Squad 27 has been named the 14th Buiest Heavy Rescue in the country, according to Firehouse Magazine, Fire Service Statistics for Heavy Rescue's.

Rescue Squad 27 is listed as having 2,496 calls in 2009, less than 150 calls out of being in the top 10.
